Invasion of Hamedan and Ardabil

They are two cities in Iran. The Tatars besieged Hamedan and then fight broke up between them and its inhabitants after food supplies were cut off from them.

Both parties suffered severe killing, but in the end, the Tatars emerged victorious and overran the city, killed its dwellers and burnt its houses. Then, they crossed it to Ardabil and took control of it, killed its citizens and demolished and burnt the possessions.
